The kit was mostly assembled out of the box, without much modifications. I just stripped off the tinted coatings and left only the silver coating on the suit so I could simulate some scratch marks, and weathering on the suit afterwards after i've painted it.
Paints used were Mr. Color flat black for the torso. shoulder armors, fore arms, calves and ankle armors. A custom mix of light gull grey and off white for the arms, legs and head, character red for the mid section, and character yellow for the collar.
Weathering was done using black chalk pastel for a little shading. I used the edge of my modelling knife to scratch off the edges of some parts to simulate a weathered look. Finally I attached decals that came from my spare decals, and especially applied the white trimmings to enhance the overall realtype look. Finally I topped it off with a coat of Mr.Super Clear Flat to even out the color.
