Quick Model Duel GundamThis is the Duel Gundam from the Gundam Seed Quick Model line, I was curious so I bought 2 of them. This one and the Strike Gundam. Upon opening the box I immediately found out that this was not really a model, but more of an MSIA that you build yourself. The figure is made of the same materials as the regular MSIA's. The only difference is that the joints, which requires some assembly, is made of ABS plastic. Actually I feel that these are the real MSIA's of the seed line rather than the Advance MSIA's, since the scale for these figures are more in line with the regular MSIAs. Being an action figure rather than a model, I didn't feel the need to repaint it. What I set out to do instead was to make a small diorama so I could make it more presentable. The Diorama that I used is mainly made of sturofoam sheets and same other materials I scrounged from my spare parts box. I used a damaged floppy disk to make a launch pad and some old sprues to make some railings. I used a som gray and black spray paint to color the whole thing and then printed out some custom labels to add some details and create a feel of a real hangar.
