AMX-103 Hamma Hamma
 
 
  This is the 1/144 Hamma Hamma from the old ZZ Gundam series, I really like the Hamma Hamma for it's sheer cool design, but the model is another story and really needs a LOT of work to make it look decent. Major modifications done to the neck and hip~thigh joints. The neck of the Hamma Hamma was too short and was supposed to be glued to the body, so I increased the length of the neck and made it mobile. The thigh joint opening was enlarged and the rear of lower leg was modified in order to enable the Hamma Hamma to make dynamic poses, as the original thigh joint and knee constructions were too limiting to make any decent poses. Paints used were Mr. Color USAF Green (Dark Green #302), Israeli Green(Light Green #312), Character Red, Metal Red, Flat Black and Gunmetal (70% Metal Black + 30% Silver Mixture). Weathering was done using black chalk pastel mixed with thinned down Mr. Color flat base to achieve a charred battle worn look, and extra detailing was added using the detail up parts from the MG GM and MG Zaku kits and some left over decals.   |
